Today, Lisa has gone to Hong Kong for the next month. I miss her already... Anyway, I'm about to begin my official Internal Medicine residency in a few days but tomorrow is orientation. Not that I need too much of an orientation since I've been "orientated" for the past 4 months through my program but it's mere formality now. On another note, by the Lord's great provision, I have finally found a place to move in to for the next couple years at least. It's a nice room in a friend of mine condo for a price that can't be beat too. I'm excited to finally to be able to call a place home for the next couple years instead of moving around. I've already been to IKEA and bought a few things :p and I'll be back tomorrow for more ha, ha, ha.
Lisa and I had our pastor and his family over for dinner a couple nights ago and we cooked dinner! Surprise, surprise, Lisa cooked a tasty spaghetti dish and I made chicken wings using my sister's recipe and baked a pizza. I must say that my baked chicken wings turned out delicious...if you ever want a recipe for hot wings email me . We had a wonderful time in fellowship with them.
Yesterday, we went to Banff and Lake Louise which is about 1.5 hr from Calgary, in the Rocky Mountains. It was such a gorgeous day with fantastic weather as well. Praise God for the weather as it was raining the previous two days.
Enough said here are some recent pictures we took:
This was at our friend's wedding. The photographer was my cousin with his fancy professional camera & lens.

I guess it takes something like this to update my Xanga post :p But seriously for all you people out there who are using the contact lens solution-Complete MoisturePlus Multi Purpose Solution produced by Advanced Medical Optics: STOP using it and throw it away along with the contact lens and the contact lens case as the solution might be linked to having a parasite that can potentially lead to blindness. The full details are as below from the FDA's own website: http://www.fda.gov/bbs/topics/NEWS/2007/NEW01641.html
A quick update on life: I've been officially accepted into the Internal Medicine program now and will begin in July 1, 2007. Praise God for that :) Right now I'm doing 3 weeks of gastroenterology at the university hospital and am seeing some very interesting pathology...collagenous colitis and gastric cancers via endoscopic ultrasound, gastroscopy, and colonoscopy. Lisa and I are doing well and we just celebrated her birthday . We're both getting old together haha. On another note, I'm now an uncle for the third time now with my sister giving birth to a beautiful daughter . She is one week old and her name is Naomi...she's got a very good tempermant as well.

Ciao for now peoples and remember to stop taking that aforementioned contact lens solution if you are using it. | | |

Happy Happy Happy Chinese New Year! For all you piggies out there, 'tis your year .
Anyway as for an update in my life, I've now moved to the land of the frozen north which is also known as Edmonton. The Lord has opened up the way for me to do my Internal Medicine residency at the University of Alberta. It'll be at least four years here in Edmonton. Thank you for all your prayers as the Lord has brought me back full circle back to Canada after traveling four years abroad for my medical education. The Lord is so faithful.
For those of you who wish to contact me in person please email me and I'll give you my new phone number.

May the Lord's name be forever praised! Glory to His name for He is faithful, merciful and gracious. I have received news that I have been accepted by the University of Alberta for their Internal Medicine residency beginning February 20, 2007. Truly the Lord is faithful in keeping His promises. As per my last blog entry, our Lord God Almighty has "brought me back up again" to Canada after 4 years of wandering abroad for my medical education. Through it all my faith in the Lord was affirmed and He is faithful to his promises without a doubt. May God bless you and strengthen you today. Trust in the Lord and lean not in your own understanding.
Praise Be to the Lord,
Amen!
